Integrated Transport Hub at Bukit Panjang to open on 24 February

Hillion Mall, a new shopping mall in Bukit Panjang will open on 24 February 2017.

This mall, which was developed by Sim Lian JV (BP Retail), would have about one-third of the mall to food and beverage, while almost 45 per cent of the retail space has been allocated to lifestyle choices and more than 100 retail stores. In addition, the Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub, which provides better connection between the Bukit Panjang LRT and Downtown Line stations and will include Singapore’s ninth air-conditioned bus interchange, will also be part of the new mall.

Hopefully, this new opening will herald a new era of better connections for Bukit Panjang residents now that transfer between the LRT and MRT lines are made easier and a new bus interchange replacing the old interchange from 1999 will also be opened. Already, Bukit Panjang has seen improvements on the bus services as part of the Bus Service Enhancement Programme. (BSEP)
